This policy for Kytor LLC dba Kytor Industries (“we,” “us,” or “our“), describes our various store policies, including shipping, refunds, exchanges and warranties. The policy above may be revised at any time without notice and may be applied retroactively at our discretion. This applies to all physical products, services and digital goods (“product” or “products“). Including:
- Purchase of a product
- Product use
- Lost, damaged or stolen products
- A product defect or failure
Reading this Policy will help you understand your choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, we kindly ask that you please do not use our products.
FULLFILLMENT AND SHIPPING
Availability and lead-times will generally be noted on the product page. Be sure to read the full title and description prior to order.
- In-stock finished products are generally dispatched within 2 business days after receipt of payment.
- Built-to-order and configurable products (e.g. 3D Printed) may not be produced until after receipt of payment. Lead-times will vary by product.
- Engineered-to-order (“custom fabrication”) products must be designed and approved prior to the start of fabrication. This process may result in significant lead-times. Contact us for details.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Physical products are shipped via courier including USPS, FedEx or UPS. Unless specified otherwise we reserve the right to select the selected shipping courier at our discretion. Contact us in advance to preselect a specific courier, additional charges may apply.
A signature delivery may be required for some purchases over $200 at our discretion. Optional signature delivery is available upon request for an added charge, contact us for an invoice in these instances.
Carefully verify your address prior to order completion. We are not responsible for lost packages sent to an incorrectly filled address.
Shipping promotions such as discounted or free shipping offers apply only to the contiguous United States of America; lower 48 states.
Once an item has shipped, we have no influence on logistics and are no longer in control over the processing, handling or delivery tracking information or timing. Please refer to the courier for status updates.
FEES, TARIFFS, DUTIES, VAT AND SALES TAXES
We collect Onondaga County and New York state sales tax on applicable purchases.
We perform due diligence to accurately classify Harmonized System (HS) Codes and value on customs forms. You are responsible for all additional fees and taxes including broker fees, tariffs, VAT, and import duties. If a package is returned due to non-payment of additional fees or taxes, a refund will be issued minus a 20% restocking fee and the cost of shipping, handling and packing.
UNITED KINGDOM (UK)
In accordance with the UK Taxation (Post-transition Period) Act 2020 a rule became effective January 1st 2021 requiring pre-collection of VAT by the exporter for sales valued between £0.01 and £135, excluding shipping and insurance fees. As a small operation, Kytor Industries is not currently equipped to manage UK VAT collection for low-value orders. Therefore, products valued under £135 are not available for shipment to the UK.
For orders over £135, any applicable VAT, duties, or fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are typically collected by the carrier or customs authority at the time of import.
EU MEMBER STATES
Unless otherwise specified, all products are intended for professional, commercial, or industrial use only and are not designed or marketed as consumer products under the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).
LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
In the unfortunate event a package is lost or damaged:
- Save all packaging. This includes the cardboard protective materials such as bubble wrap, and label. This will typically be required to process a claim.
- Contact us, include pictures of damage. We will require at minimum your order number and details of the lost or damaged item. Provide clear, well-lit photos to facilitate a damaged item insurance claim (where applicable).
- After the successful completion of an insurance claim, either a partial or full refund or replacement item will be provided at our discretion.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Due to the unique nature of built-to order custom fabricated products, services, and digital goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
Extenuating circumstances may apply. Returns or exchanges must be pre-approved in writing by Kytor Industries and your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition as new. Clearly mark your package with the provided RMA number, and mail to the following address using only United States Postal Service (“USPS”). UPS, FedEx, and DHL returns are not accepted.

When approved for a return or exchange under an extenuating circumstance, you are responsible for return shipping charges. The following shall apply:
- Once your return is received we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return, exchange or credit.
- Refund credit is automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Contact your bank for processing times.
- The maximum refund is the original purchase price of the item, minus any applicable payment processing and shipping charges.
We reserve the right to reject or offer a partial refund in the event of any of the following:
- Obvious signs of use, weather damage, abuse or neglect.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
Unless specified otherwise, products are provided as-is without any guarantees or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purchase, operational failure, damage, or loss of property. In no event or under any circumstances shall Kytor Industries be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, punitive or other indirect damages arising in any way including, but not limited to, loss of profits or business, even if Kytor Industries has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event or under any circumstances shall Kytor Industries be liable for any personal injury from installation, modification or use of products. Under no circumstances shall Kytor Industries’ liability exceed the amount paid to Kytor Industries for the original purchase.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE
Products offered by Kytor Industries are qualified through internal quality assurance procedures. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, products are not approved or certified by regulatory or certifying bodies such as the DOT, NHTSA, USCG, or FCC, and have not been independently tested or certified by Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) such as UL, ETL, CSA, or CE. All motor vehicle products are intended for off-road use only.
Installation, modification, and use of products are at the user’s own risk. It is the user’s responsibility to consult their local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to determine whether the products, services, or digital goods provided by Kytor Industries are permitted for use in their area. Users are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals, listings, or permits from the appropriate AHJ.
