Custom Fabricated Parts:

The off-the-shelf roof basket was too small to hold any more than a spare tire, and didn't reach far enough for proper mounting of off-road and hazard lights. I designed and built a safari-style roof rack using 3/4" schedule 40 pipe, 1/8" steel plate, and expanded steel for the decking. It came out extremely sturdy, it's absolute overkill (as is my custom).
