Do you have a corroded or damaged ribbon or HuCard board on your TurboExpress or PC Engine GT? This kit is a direct replacement. Included are an FFC ribbon and main board connector which reverses the ribbon direction. The HuCard connector is not included and must be harvested from your factory board.
This version of the board includes “no-cut” region-free capabilities. Simply hold “SELECT” during power on to switch regions. Power cycle the unit to reset back to the native region. Allow the unit to remained powered off for at least 10 seconds for the region-switch capacitor to discharge.
This kit is excellent for those with advanced soldering experience. Installation requires fine soldering skills for approximately 0.3mm gaps. A 0.2mm tip soldering iron or similar recommended, such as the Hakko T15-JS02. Needle probe DMM is strongly recommended to verify connections.

Return shipping is included in this service, however outbound shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. Careful protected packaging and insurance is strongly recommended. Once your PCE GT / TE is received, please allow up to four (4) weeks for the installation service.
